Description
A-One Oil Perforating Pressure Gauge is mainly used for external pressure testing during the perforation process. It is placed in a support cylinder and protected by shock absorption measures. The support cylinder is connected to the front end of the perforation gun when it is lowered into the well.
It has the function of setting the perforation explosion threshold, which can set the interval and time of high-speed sampling, accurately and completely record the changes of the wellbore pressure wave during the perforation process, used to determine whether perforation has occurred and evaluate the perforation effect. At the same time, it records the original formation pressure for evaluating the reservoir reserves.

Q: Is the Perforating Pressure Gauge lowered into the well by wireline cable or can it be
lowered by drill pipe?
A: Both are ok. Wireline allows more flexible operations, enabling real-time data transmission (if the tool supports it) and faster lowering/retrieval.
Drill pipe conveyance suits deeper wells or cases requiring greater lowering/retrieval strength. It depends on well depth, conditions, and operational requirements.
Q: How long can one go down the well for monitoring?
A: The perforation operations, it is usually only necessary to monitor the data at the moment of perforation and within a few minutes to tens of minutes thereafter.
